We aim to engage with our membership as often as possible. One of the ways we achieve this is by creating opportunity for our membership to submit achievements and opportunities through our quarterly WWN Newsletter.
We are preparing the first #WWNnewsletter for 2026! This edition’s theme will be Partnership & Collaboration: the importance of networks. This topic can be interpreted in whichever capacity you choose. For example, how progress comes from shared expertise, diverse perspectives, and collective action; or how partnerships drive innovation, strengthen impact, and open new paths for discovery, including your own stories of the importance of collaborations and partnerships in your work. We ask that the focus be placed on the above theme, but all topics are acceptable.
We would also like to create a word cloud for this edition. Should you have a specific word or phrase related to this theme, kindly submit it here.
Theme-related contributions in the form of artwork, short essays/information pieces about the theme, personal experiences, a description of research you are doing in this area, etc. are welcome. Please keep these contributions to 300 words or less. Kindly submit contributions here.
As always, general contributions (not theme-related) are welcome and encouraged:
– Recent accomplishments (papers, grants, talks, graduation, promotions)
– Upcoming events or activities in your institution or organization that you would like to share with the WWN community
– Opportunities you would like publicized (jobs, grant funding opportunities, travel fund opportunities, etc.)
– Interesting scientific articles (e.g., a recent article you read and found interesting)
– A quote for the month
– Anything in addition to what is mentioned above that you find relevant to the field of neuroscience (ideally theme-related)
